About Ally's Kindy
Why Choose Us
Ally’s Kindy offers the Ipswich community a family-oriented day care centre. As a privately-owned centre, we strive to provide a more personal approach for our families. Our mission is based on combining detailed and specific information about your child with our own professional knowledge about children’s education and development. In this way, we strive to create a well-rounded atmosphere and a loving environment.
We proudly offering quality childcare to the communities and Amberley RAAF families of West Ipswich, One Mile, Leichhardt, Amberley, Wulkaraka, Yamanto, Ipswich and the surrounding areas.

Our History
Ally’s Kindy at One Mile is owned by Des and Dianne Rosenblatt, who began their journey in childcare in 2005 with a childcare centre in Brisbane.
After selling that Centre, they then opened Ally’s Kindy at One Mile in 2009 after finding the warm and welcoming community and families of Ipswich. Des and Di adopt a “hands on approach” at the Centre and are driven everyday to do the best job possible for the children in their care in Ipswich and surrounds.
The Director, Donna Hayes, started with at Ally’s Kindy shortly after it opened in 2006 and is an integral part of the team. Nearly every staff member at Ally’s has worked their for over 5 years. This loyal team has developed a nurturing and welcoming family focussed culture under Donna’s Leadership.

Meet Our Educators
At Ally’s Kindy, all our educators and support staff hold equal importance in making sure our centre offers outstanding care for your child. This builds a strong team both within the rooms, and in the wider centre. Our educators know all the children in the Centre, not just the children in their respective rooms.
Our Lead Educators not only have solid knowledge of the Childcare legislation and centre policies and procedures. They hold extensive experience which means they can apply this knowledge in a practical way. Our understanding and actions within and around the centre are the foundation for our staff’s family focussed environment.
Our Programming
We believe that children learn through play and that it is the experience a child has while engaging in play that is the most important factor in promoting development. In each program you will find that there is a predictable routine to the day which provides the children with a sense of security. You will also find that certain materials are always available for children to choose i.e. paints, blocks, books and equipment for imaginative play.
Coupled with our learning materials, we implement teaching experiences planned to challenge and stimulate your child in becoming an effective learner. Although what is offered in equipment is the same or very similar across groups, what the children do with it is changing as they develop and acquire new knowledge and skills
At Ally’s Kindy, we are committed to providing individual developmental programs which highlight the care, education, interest and health of young children. Our program incorporates the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (2010), emergent curriculum, interest based programming style and Belonging, Being and Becoming: The Early Years Learning Framework (2009).
