On the 14th of September Ally’s Kindy held our annual Country Day. This day is held to appreciate all things country and western, with children and staff dressing up to the occasion and having a fun filled themed day!
Children enjoyed a day full of fun activities including “gold panning” and “milking the cow”. Children experienced making damper and enjoyed their delicious efforts for afternoon tea.
Our hearts have been saddened by the current drought that has affected our farmers and for this Country Day, our Ally’s community rallied together to raise funds for this cause.
A massive thank you to all of our families who participated and raised money for our Country Day; Fiver for a Farmer.
We raised a massive $2,300.00 with the proceeds going to Drought Angels and Rural Aid.
Special mention to our local businesses who kindly donated produce and merchandise for our raffle.
